Special Needs Children / CCP PCS and MDCP
Children and young adults with special needs sometime require assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, etc. Hour Family can help by providing caregivers to your child that fits your schedule. If your child is receiving attendant services through MDCP/CCP you have the option to have a caregiver (PCS). PCS is personal caregiver services provided by an attendant who performs activities of daily living.
Hour Family also provides the option to have a family member or friend care for the child with special needs; this is a valuable option to some family. With this option you can have someone you already know and trust in your home to assist your child with special needs. Caregivers can work hourly shifts in your home to provide assistance to your child. Depending on the program in which your child receives caregiver services.
